SOCIAL NETWORKING AND BEHAVIOR

Technology has rapidly grown during this 21st century and so has the communication.Now a days our world is flooded with social networking sites and mobile applications. Communication has taken a new route and the adolescents have followed it up as if it was their patrimony.The parent generation that lived the life in a transition period-the 80s and 90s have seen the changes occur rapidly and thus have acquainted themselves with those.They have seen enough ups and downs to develop a thought that availability of resources would lead to a better life.This thought has made them to cut their coats out of rented cloths.They have provided their children with the things they missed in their childhood.They have done it with the sense of giving their child opportunities to grow and succeed. What have they done in this process of materialistic development is that they have completely ignored the aspect that the children are going to live in a world where they have to face the reality,be independent of others and get things for themselves.Giving them things is not a concern but ignorance towards use is a grave danger. The most common thing that goes into a childs hand in the name of prosperity is a smart phone.Then comes in the internet with it's two cruises.One filled with knowledge and serenity and another with the Pirates of the Caribbean.It's not for the child to choose which cruise he takes,rather the parents' impressions on the child decides the ticket.But the child doesn't know one way has hyperlinks with another.So does the cruises.How do you save your child from becoming victims of the pirates? This article appears to be shaping for the parents but adolescents know very well that what's advised in the articles for the young is not read by parents rather the child reads it and makes the elder one accept it. So for that we have cyber crime cells,conscious individuals and most effectively good conscience.These are the daggers with whose help your child would never fall in and even if he does these are enough for him to fight them out but yours support is highly recommended. Lets say your child had taken the cruise filled with knowledge and serenity.But nothing is so perfect in this world.Another epidemic awaits you. The social network.Facebook,Twitter,Yahoo,MSN and all are there.They are loaded in the cruise your child has boarded on. Though there are a lot of ailments and addictions to grab the small minds but the thing that worries me is behavior. Now I turn to my tiny audience.You see your elder make a joke.You say 'LOL'.What does that mean?You see somebody crying and you utter the same abbreviation with sympathies.Modern day thinking and expressions have become dull and idle.They depict the drowsy public's easy way to stay lazy. Since typing on the phones makes the finger exercise it appears as a simple excuse for conserving the energy of body. It looks like finger fights would be the next workout in the gym."Lol" is the anticipated word from audience.

But what is the problem with this ? The problem is that people are using these abbreviations in daily life.This has minimized the thought process.This is one of prominent reason for the sales of English communication products as it results in poverty of communicational skills.

Speaking less and describing more may appear very useful but imagine a guy attending his grandfathers funeral say "Lol,Rip....grandpa".Imagine a student writing answer in the answer sheet-
T s gd fr hlth.T ws 1st fnd in China.
(read as:Tea is good for health.Tea was first found in China.)
Then there would be a course for spelling mistake analysis and use.English language would really loose it's essence.
Speaking in this manner there would be  no feelings left in the words.Feelings are more important when you say it.When you say a particular sentence you convey a particular feeling and meaning but when you abbreviate that then  that is taken differently and cause problems which are not even contemplated.
